Just a thought.
There are weapons all over the games.
Is it possible to enhance certain characters to wield 2 single weapons at the same time?
Maybe can attack twice or counterattack?

Good idea. Especially Skellyman with two daggers migh be really good :)
Technically it might need a skill and possibly some accuracy penalty. But during "mastery", (e.g. second skill or after practical use), the penalty should disappear.

Actually from day 1 of 100 Rogues' design, this was a planned ability. However, it was cut because of animation requirements for such an ability. For that reason, it still won't go into the game. Just a simple cost issue. Sorry!
However – the Dinoman may have this ability; we'll see.

Why should the lack of an appropriate animation keep the skill out of the game? I'd rather have the skill with no animation than no skill at all. ESPECIALLY a dual-wield skill!

So what do you propose happens, xxJ6xx? The game is all fully animated but then when you are dual-wielding… it just plays the attack animation twice, once with each weapon?
Personally, I'm okay with that. I dunno if our art director, Blake Reynolds is, though. He's worked hard to make this game look good and consistent… maybe he'll come and weigh in on the issue.

That doesn't sound bad. Kind of like how dual wielding was treated in the older 8 and 16 bit Final Fantasy games. The game IS kinda retro, so, why not?
