Problem: Personally I still find it difficult to move. I accidentally move spaces quite oten, whether it be to hit someone with a wand (although the solution in place i.e. the attack button is very good and perhaps its my fault for not using it more), attempting to open the spell menu, or my biggest problem, trying to open up the map. I find the map button rather small and often accidentally move north.
Suggestion: I suggest that there be translucent arrows along all four edges of the screen so that the center of the screen is dedicated solely for actions.
Problem: When auto-running (holding a direction), it's very difficult to see enemies coming soon enough to stop and plan for the enemy. I often run head first into enemies.
Suggestion: I think that auto-running should stop as soon as an enemy is in the field of vision.

v1.08 iOS 4.1 3G touch
The Map and Menu buttons are problematic. Sometimes I go to touch them but instead my character goes running up the screen. Would suggest a mask be applied not to include pixels a buffer zone outside the visible map area, for the purposes of movement.

This has been improved somewhat for 1.09, especially with the map button. Let me know what you think.
They are placed kind of awkwardly, I admit. Some ideas came up to have a second radial menu similar to skills, only a press-and-hold on your character would open it, that would provide quick access to menus and map. The issue with this is that it's not immediately accessible to new players, redundant to old players, and the gesture can easily be confused with opening the skills radial.
I doubt the UI is finalized. Things will definitely change in response to new features.

I think the button placement is fine; the problem is fact that touching far outside of the "visible circle" still causes the player to move.

The tweak I mentioned for 1.09 basically just made this box bigger, so hopefully that will do the trick.
