So I am pretty much addicted to this game and I love it, but I've played it so much that it's not hard to beat anymore.  I can win like 95% of the time with any class on normal mode, and it shouldn't be that way.  And since it takes time to make harder and harder worlds Cry there needs to be a hard mode so the game can still be a roguelike instead of just a short adventure rpg.  Either that or an endless mode, that's always good too! Laugh

Hard mode is ready to ship out, after another day or two polishing and debugging other stuff.

Here's a taste of its difficulty:

I'm bad at this game. Trying my hardest on Normal mode, I can usually get to the first level of Hell, maybe the second, if I'm exceptionally lucky I can gun for Satan if I don't fight. I cannot win.

I balanced Hard Mode by setting my max health to 400, and made sure I could not get beyond Hell 2 without dieing. I found myself at less than 100 health by the end of the Bandit Hole and narrowly avoiding death before the end of the Dungeon.

Now you get to try with just a hair less starting health than in Normal Mode Wink

Wow, that sounds really hard mode! I think I will be using it only with wizard, because is with her that I achieve it 100% of the games, with the other two guys i can make it, lets say 20% of the games, 1 out of five, or even less… and always sweating (unless i have extra good gear, like +5 plate and griffin slayer, or +7 leather and +3 dagger, then is easy :P  )…

Any advice, tip, strategy or succesful build to follow with crusader-scoundrell, Senor Rickles?
