I really think that the positions of Aura Siphon and Purify should be switched.  

It doesn't really make much sense to have Amefyst a requirement for Aura Siphon since almost everyone who would need Aura Siphon would certainly be using Teleport as well.  Also, Teleport as a requirement for Purify makes little sense as well since they have nothing to do with each other.

Seems kinda pointless that if you want to go for a long ranged magic attacker wizard that you would have to "waste" a point in Aura Siphon which you wouldn't be using.

I thihnk I like this idea. Aura Siphon does synergize better with teleport, and whenever I'm a tele-stabbing wizard, I don't use Amefyst very often, since I need the mana for teleporting, and when I'm a shooting wizard, the point in Aura Siphon makes it a lot more work to get Magic Crystals.

The downsides I can see are that there would be 3 multilevel skills in the left tree and a telestabber has her combo down at level 2 instead of at level 4. This might be good since it would allow for more flexibility after you have your combo, but it also makes her get her core build really really early.

Depends on your approach. I killed Satan on my second game in 100 Rogues with a fairy wizard that relied on teleport and purify for evasion and healing, and then just wanding everyone down. In that instance I had little motivation to waste points in amefyst as I just needed good recovery and avoidance.
