Would you be able to add some kind of highlight or button pressed image or something to your buttons and menu so that we know when we've pressed them?  Right now there is nothing like that, and sometimes I'll press a menu, only to discover that it didn't work.  It doesn't help that everything seems to take a second or two to respond, so it would be nice to have that :)

Buttons could have just a simple color change or darkening and the menu text could just be given some outer glow or a different color, etc.  Lots of things you could do :)
