Congrats on winning with Tourist! I scarcely believed that was possible. Mind if I ask your strategy?
For the first couple of levels, I focused on thrown items, particularly rocks and arrows, and tried to make sure nothing got close enough to hit me. I managed to level far enough to call in Ambassadors, and the next skill point after that let me call in a second one.
At that point, I just hung back and let the Ambassadors do all of the work, and never directly attacked anything for the rest of the game except during boss battles; later skill points went into getting a Hawaiian shirt and then an iron stomach, but I never actually ended up needing the latter. (I did get into a bit of trouble once when a camera flash managed to get an Ambassador angry with me, but fortunately I had a staff of teleport, so I just ran away until it left.)
The Tourist proved much easier to play than a Nethack pacifist, since in 100 Rogues you get experience when anything dies, even if you didn't actually kill it yourself.
In addition to attacking enemies and shielding me, the Ambassadors often left behind grenades when they left; by the end, I had 40 grenades. Between those and a Staff of Unholy Fires, the final battle had me doing most of the damage myself, just calling in Ambassadors to do the occasional bit of bat control.
