Hi, I just downloaded 100 rogues yesterday and got to hell level 3 in my third playtrough.
I got to say, great game great idea, extremely addictive!
My suggestions are no game changing ones, or ones to tweak the system.
Here goes:
Two new levels.
1: Sewers, between dungeon and hell.
Sewer enemies should be, green rats, octopusses, goblins, goblin shamans, slimes and some sort of grime monster.
The boss would be a giant octopuss or some sort of Goblin leader.
The setting, and maybe some unique part of the level would be water, green slimy water, where whenever you walk in it, there is a chance you get stuck for one round, both you and monsters, except the octopusses ofc. for the whole setting, just stone, green and slimy.
2: Hel, yes that is right, Hel with one L =) .
Hel is the nordic version of Hell, Hel is completely frozen, a terrible place to end up.
Hel should be situated beneath Hell.
Monster in Hel: Frost giants, frost orcs, frozen horrors, liches, yetis?
The boss should be Hel herself, the Norse godess of death.
The setting: Ice, cold and dark. Maybe some sort of unique envoiremental aspect.
2 new areas would add a lot of value to the game, as well as making the game more difficult without being cheap.
And new areas would ofc also mean more heroic tales to tell =)
Other suggestions I have are:
1: Rare runes to socket into your equipent, much like the uppgrade scrolls but almost even more rare and with speciall effects instead of just adding attack power.
There could be 5 different runes.
