100 Rogues is a great game and one of my must-plays on the iPhone 4. I still encounter bugs from time to time but am sure that they will get fixed. Here is a list of bugs I'm recently encountering under version 2.9.4:

1. ever since the White Knight was introduced, I found problems with a non-functional projectile reflection buff (typically after reloads), and an "H" sign always hovers above the character's head as though some kind of debuff stays with the White knight. I think this will be fixed in 2.9.5 so I really can't wait to see how it's changed.

2. I also found issues with game reinstallation. The game got so buggy that I decided to delete it completely and reinstall it. The problem is, I wasn't able to restore the White Knight, which was previously given as a freebie, and I now have to pay $0.99 for it just to get it back, and now I can't even play with it because the game freezes everytime I tap on the screen when the White Knight appears!! It took me at least 3-4 game reloads before I could get back into the White Knight game screen but now I can't use it! YellYellYell

3. With the White knight comes certain problematic influences over other characters. Have tried playing the Fairy Wizard and Tourist but the following things happen:

- "stun" no longer works properly – a stunned monster will wake immediately in the next turn and continues to advance at the same pace as the player as though it never got stunned. I can understand this from the slow and bulky White Knight's perspective, but Fairy Wizard / Tourist!? That sure is buggy;

- hunger speeds up like crazy, and this was not even after reloads. I remember eating a roasted food just before entering a Genie fight (not being "very" hungry yet), fought off the Genie in around 10 turns, went and picked up the spoils on the floor, bought stuff from the shop, went down to the next level (no dilly-dally in between) and within around 10 turns, I was hungry again! After eating more food and walking around in Dungeon 1, I was hungry again!! 3 of my Fairy Wizards died because of rapid starvation!!

- relating to hunger, at zero belly, all characters seemed to lose 2 points of health per turn as opposed to 1 point, just like the White Knight. An otherwise easy battle against skellies and skelly archers turned into a death match, as the rate of recovery falls behind enemy damage! Frown

4. Would you also clarify one thing - do White knights regenerate at all (i.e. without the regeneration buff), i.e. are they like zombies? The difference here is that zombies start out with 900HPs while white knights a meager 16. Not being able to regenerate at any rate makes it very hard to get past its first couple of levels.

Really hope that you will fix these problems (and if possible, PAY ME BACK $0.99 FOR MY FREE WHITE KNIGHT!!).

Thanks…

1. Projectile Reflection should be fixed in all instantiations and use cases, now.

2. White Knight was unintentionally free for the first update. The bug was corrected in the next update. A notice that the Knight would need to be purchased again if the app were uninstalled was posted to these forums, the TouchArcade forum, as well as our facebook page. Sorry for the inconvenience, but deleting the App deletes record that the Knight was unlocked, so the only means it can be obtained through is purchase, at this point.

3. Hunger issues have been resolved for 2.9.5. When the game is saved (which happens between levels), the hunger debuff was being applied to the player twice, making hunger tick faster and making you take double damage at 0 belly.

Regarding stuns, there are several issues at work which have been corrected in some instances, but I suspect there may still be some wonkiness to address for the next update. Please accept my apologies while I fix this issue; something does appear to have gone wrong while coding the White Knight.

4. I have noticed very rare instances in which regeneration and hunger are not applied to your character at the start of the game. I am attempting to collect more information on this problem, but I would be very surprised if it was happening repeatedly. If you could provide more information about the problem, I would appreciate it; the White Knight has been regenerating perfectly for me in both the live version of the app and my latest development builds.

Thanks Wes.

Health regeneration just doesn't work on the White Knight since I first started playing with it and to this day, at the time of writing to you, my White Knight just isn't regenerating health naturally and is relying on the improved regeneration buff to get back to full health. This is a repeating problem, and still happens after installs and re-installs (and coughing up US$0.99 for the white knight…YellYellYell), whether at normal or rogue difficulties (haven't tried easy yet…). Non-natual-regeneration does make it more challenging to play the White Knight though, and surviving all the way to Hell is indeed quite an achievement, for me at least!

One other thing – I recall white knights eating rotten food and losing health, but since they're not "living beings" like the tourist, mystic or crusader, why should they get a rotten food penalty? Shouldn't they get bonuses for eating these chunks, especially given that their hunger is twice as fast as any other characters?

Finally, I noticed that items have been missing from inventory when switching items from the quick slot. For instance, I switched from a wand to a dagger for my fairy wizard (and backwards), and distinctly recall having two bucklers in the inventory (+1 and +2 respectively). I don't recall how my item switch was done but, not having previously thown away any of these bucklers, I lost the +2 buckler along the way! Have you encountered this in any of your builds before?

Missing items has happened occasionally, but I've not seen it since I fixed it at least six months ago. There's a slim chance I could have reintroduced it, which I will try to confirm or rule out.

Thanks very much for the notice about health regeneration, though! I had to resubmit the build to Apple today because of distribution build launch issues, and was able to sneak in a fix for that, as well.

In the meantime, the White Knight can get health back by resting (hold the skip turn button).
