In previous versions of 100 Rogues, the CD's Griffin Slayer could damage the second boss right through his shield.  This got fixed in subsequent versions, but as a side effect, now the CD's Griffin Slayer doesn't damage the second boss at all even with his shield down.  I had to equip a different weapon to damage him at all.
