im having issuses buying the new charecter. everytime i try it says my sandbx account is not registered.
Question 1 what is a sandbox account?
Question 2 why wont it accept my payment via the app store?

Now all it says is " This is not a test account" " Please make a new account".
if i was to do this id have to buy the whols game again.
Anyone else having this problem?

It sounds to me like you just encountered some issues with the skellyman migrating from a test server to a live one. I will see if I can find anymore information on the problem, but keep trying; it may just be a matter of time / timing.

This problem often occurs with in-app purchases on jailbroken iPhones and cracked software.

My iphone was cracked when i first got it but i changed that almost stright away so it shouldnt have anything to do with that. ill just have to reset my phone to factory settings when i get a new PC and see if that helps or not.
Now all i need to do is find the cash for a new PC :(.

Hi, i'm having the same issue.. I bought the app and my iphone isn't jb anymore.

Try powering off your device and powering up again. I found that after the reset I was able to purchase skellyman.

I tried but it didn't change anything.
Did you have the error message "This is not a test account. Please make a new account in the Sandbox environment." too?
Do you need to have a Game Center account?

I've been getting input from other forums / developers that this often occurs on jailbroken phones, which aren't able to make in-app purchases. The remedy there, sadly, is just to restore your device to factor settings and redownload the App before trying to make an IAP.

oh.. now that you mention it, it is true that i bought and downloaded it while mine was jailbroken, then upgraded it to the last ios 4.2, which i think canceled the jailbreak. Is that right?
When you synchronize your iphone on itunes, does it save data of apps? I mean if I synchronize my iphone now, then delete 100 Rogue on my device, then put it back with itunes, will I get the data back with it?

I will give that a hesitant 'yes', although it's been long enough since I tested it that I can't remember the outcome (sort of a quick 'hey, I wonder if…' sidestep). I believe it's an automatic feature of iTunes; each App has a Documents directory that is synced verbatim onto your computer, and that's where I stored player save data and profile information (for achievements and such).

Well, i did what I suggested above, and I actually lost my scores.. but managed to buy the skellyman ^^
No pain, no gain I guess!
When you said "that's where I stored player save data and profile information (for achievements and such", did you mean that you make like a backup manually?

Nope, I meant the actual data itself. When 100 Rogues is installed, a directory called '100 Rogues/Documents' is installed on your device where persistent data like save games and high scores are stored. I'll look this over again, since I believe this Documents directory is supposed to be synced onto iTunes with the App itself when syncing your device.

Just to add to this, I tried to buy the Skellyman a few days ago. The purchase went through normally but it wouldn't let me use the character, it just prompted me to buy again. I restarted, but it didn't help.
I tried again just now and it worked properly. I guess we'll see if I was charged twice.
My phone is not, and never has been jailbroken.
